She graduated with the final class of Commercial High School in 1947 and was a graduate of Atlanta Christian College, now known as Point University. She was employed by the Alston and Bird Law Firm for more than 46 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harold Eugene (Gene) Woodard; and her brother, Ronald Perkins.
Mrs. Woodard is survived by her brother, Fred Perkins (Jackie) of Canton; and a number of nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family who treasured her strong faith, loving spirit, and generosity.
Services will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree, GA on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM with burial at Greenwood Cemetery.
