Connie was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived each day with love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and coworkers.
Born on March 10, 1949, in Atlanta, Connie grew up in East Point, Georgia, and graduated from Headland High School.
Connie began her career in banking before joining Delta Air Lines, where she spent the last 29 years of her professional life. Known for her dedication, kindness, and leadership, Connie was honored with Delta’s prestigious Chairman’s Club Award in 2007-a testament to her excellence and the respect she earned from her colleagues. She retired in February 2017 but continued to serve as a contractor with Delta until this year.
Connie found joy in sewing, quilting, and walking on the beach, and she treasured quiet moments spent on her front porch. Above all, she deeply loved her family and cherished every moment shared with them.
Connie is survived by her devoted husband, Leroy Warren; her son, Jason Warren, and his wife, Ashley; and her beloved grandsons, Jack and Beau Warren. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces, Ashley McLaughlin and Tiffany Morris; nephews, H. Bond Morgan and J. Hunter Morgan, along with their families. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, George (Pat) and Geraldine (Meme) Garrison; and her sister, Gail Kelley.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory, 135 Senoia Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dogwood Church (Tyrone, GA), a place dear to Connie’s heart and where she found joy in worship and fellowship.
