She worked for many years by the side of her loving husband Jim at his business, "Tyler & Collins Pharmacy" in East Point. As a wife and mother, she gave of her time unselfishly, to her family and friends through many associations within the community. Her sincere devotion and endless dedication to her family was her focus but she still found time to be involved in other activities. Her love of music was often shared with family, she enjoyed cooking, cross-stitching, ceramics and the entertaining of family and friends within her home for holidays and other special occasions. Cookie also attended East Point Christian Church for many years as a member of the Pacesetter Sunday school class.
Cookie’s sincere love of her family was her greatest asset as she was very involved with her children as well as grandchildren. Actually she spoiled them all but she does comes by it honestly as she was loved and spoiled by her husband, Jim. Their life together was special and their combined love towards their beloved family and friends was an example for their children and their grandchildren to witness, influenced and guided by their Christian faith within their family as well as within the community. As parents they never told any of us how to live, they just lived honestly and faithfully. We watched them and learned by their example of love and commitment to each other. Now together again, forever in Heaven with family and friends within the house of our Lord and Savior. May God Bless Us All.
