
David L. Wagner, 76, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2012 after a three year battle with cancer. Son of William and Lucy Wagner, Dave grew up in Findlay, Ohio. He was talented in math, music, tennis and performing magic, which helped pay for college. Dave graduated from Case Institute of Technology, a brother of Phi Kappa Psi, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a P.E. for Marathon Oil Company, where he designed oil terminals and office buildings. Dave served eight years in the Army Reserves for Critical Skills, receiving Sharpshooter Award. He also earned awards from City of Green Bay and has registered patents in the oil industry. Dave went on to Planned Unit Developments in Ohio and Florida. He designed and built four of his family homes as well. He was a Building Inspector for Peachtree City, Georgia when he retired. As a loving father, he coached sports with his children and built a Legoland with his grandsons.
Dave is survived by his loving wife, Janice; daughter, Tamara Kasbo and David; son, Mark and Maria; grandsons, Dylan and Kyle Crocker, Nicholas and Douglas Wagner; brother-in-law, Kent Valentio and Joan; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends following the service in the church’s Loretto Hall.
