Deborah Anne (Turner) Schwencer went home to be with our Lord on February 26, 2023 in Farragut, TN. Debbie was born May 27th, 1946 to the late John and Mary Turner in Valdosta, GA. After graduating with honors from Lowndes County High School, she and Donald Arthur Schwencer began their marriage in Valdosta and lived many years in Columbus, GA. White Oak ARP Church was their place of worship.
Debbie was a television Account Executive at WTVM in Columbus for 32 years. Upon retiring, the Schwencers spent seven years as missionaries to Russia; where Debbie became proficient in the Russian language. After traveling extensively throughout Europe, the Schwencers made Maryville, TN their home.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Don Schwencer of Maryville TN; a brother, John (Faye) of Maryville, TN, and a sister, Susan Gabrielle of Scotts Valley, CA.
Graveside Service and Interment will take place at 1:00pm, February 29, 2024 at White Oak ARP Church, 2796 Gordon Road, Senoia, GA 30276, with Rev. John Cook officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
