Doris Rey Harwell, of Peachtree City, passed away Jan. 27, 2012. She was a member of Grace UMC, a gradute of Commercial High School, member of Cooper Music Club and Rareover Garden Club. Mrs. Harwell was preceded in death by her husband; Marcus W. Harwell, mother, Pat Barnes Rey Riley, father, Henry G. Rey, brothers; Henry G. Rey, Jr., Charles E. Rey, Sr. Surviving are daughter, Virginia Elaine Harwell, niece, Susan (Chet) Zerlin, nephew, Charles E. Rey, Jr. and grand nieces, grand nephew, and god children. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Carmichael-Hemperley 135 Senoia Rd., Peachtree City, GA. 30269. Interment Westminister Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
