My sincere condolences to Eugene's Family, and Children.

Cuz, it’s so hard to believe you’re gone. My heart hurts deeply.

Thank you for the love, the memories, the laughter, and the moments we shared. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Make sure you kiss my mom for me.

Rest peacefully, cuz. I love you Rachelle

Cheeks was an amazing man, his laugh and personality was infectious and he will be remembered and missed! Love and blessings to the family and wife and kids!

We will deeply miss Eugene and his gracious smile! His dedication to basketball officiating with our group in Ga can't be replaced...RIP our friend!

I only knew Eugene for a little over a year but in that short time, I knew he would be one of those people that I would love being around. He brought a lot of good energy and love to our team here at Emory. He inspired me to be a better leader and a better chef simply by being here. I have worked with a lot of men and women but he will forever be someone I will remember and be thankful for meeting.

My deepest sympathy for your loss,
Mike Bacha

Monica,

Condolences to the Paul family from Gene Paul's High School Basketball fraternity. "Mount Pleasant Kilties/Nation" Gene was a very hardnosed tough high school basketball player. He played with grit and toughness while at MP. The fraternity is in shock to hear of this news. He will always be remembered for his dedication and loyalty to the program and fraternity.

So many emotions & even more memories. “Mount” days… lol From my first bedroom phone at 14 where we’d talk on the phone for hours to just last month when I spoke to you. You never lost touch and we always picked up the convo from where we last left off. Them random talks I’m gonna miss the most, all that junk you talk & that smile man that smile. Your voice is embedded in my head forever! I can’t believe my phone will never ring and say your name across the screen. Who will call & talk junk like only YOU could; meanwhile calling me by my government name. Damn This one hurts!
I LOVE YOU GENE!

My deepest condolences to the family, let God be your strength inches difficult 🙏 to
