It is with profound sorrow and boundless love that we say goodbye to Gary D. Bradley, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who slipped away peacefully on May 25, 2025, at the age of 78. His parents were Clarence and Louise Bradley born in Gaffney, South Carolina. His life was a radiant beacon of love, sacrifice, and an unbreakable devotion to his family that will echo in our hearts forever.
A proud graduate of Lakeland High School in Florida, Gary poured his soul into a 42-year career at Pratt & Whitney, having many positions but ending his career as a quality engineer, where his quiet strength, tireless dedication, and gentle spirit earned him deep admiration of all who worked beside him. But it was home where Gary's heart truly lived. For 60 breathtaking years, he shared a love story with his beloved wife, Rebecca, which was nothing short of a masterpiece, a bond so pure it wove together three children, three grandchildren, and two precious great-grandchildren. To them, Gary was everything- a storyteller whose laughter filled the room, a protector whose embrace chased away fears, and a guiding light whose love never wavered.
Gary's kindness was warmth, his loyalty was a steadfast anchor, and his perseverance and quiet courage inspired us all. His absence leaves an ache that words cannot capture, yet his spirit will forever dance in the memories of his playful grin, tender hugs, and the love that bound us to him.
Gary is preceded in death his beloved parents, Clarence and Louise Bradley; and by his loving son, Marcus J Bradley.
Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife of 60 years, Rebecca Bradley; brother, Larry Bradley of Lakeland, Florida; sister, Carolyn and Roger Baugham of Cowpens, South Carolina; devoted daughter-in-law. Christina Bradley of Spanaway, Washington; his sons, Robert T Bradley of Stuart, Florida, and Matthew T Bradley of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; grandsons, Jordy Corrales and wife, Amy of Melbourne, Florida, Jonathan Bradley of Spanaway, Washington, Jarod C Bradley of Senoia, Georgia; great-granddaughter, Mhia Valentina; and great-grandson. Milan Bradley Corrales. He also leaves behind a lifetime of friends and co-workers; and his loyal companion and precious dog, Buddy.
A private memorial will be held to honor a man whose life was a gift to us all.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Gary's generous heart with donations to a charity of your choice in his name, keeping his legacy of love alive.
Special thanks to Southern Grace Hospice for loving care and Carmichael–Hemperley Funeral Home and Crematory for their services.
