Gloria Gregory, of East Point, GA passed away on August 31, 2016 at the age of 92. She was a longtime member and Elder of East Point Presbyterian Church, a teacher at Parklane Elementary School, and worked in finance at South Fulton Hospital. Born Gloria Mae Streete in Tutwiler, MS to the late Hugh and Gola Mae Streete on August 17, 1924, she attended Sardis High School and Delta State University.
She was married to MSgt Jack J. Gregory for 49 years, prior to his passing in 1994.
Gloria leaves behind a son, Rusty Gregory; a daughter Beth Gregory Barron; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Alexis, Evan, and Colt; 2 great-grandchildren, Madison and Abram.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA with services beginning at 2:00pm.
