Hubert “Buford” Mallory Doss, 68, of Jonesboro, GA passed away on December 3, 2014. He was born on March 28, 1946 in Anniston, AL. He was proud of his steel guitar talent and enjoyed playing it for family and friends. He was a true University of Alabama football fan who enjoyed nothing more than riding his crimson red motorcycle. He was a devoted partner to Regina and a true neighbor to those around him. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his spouse of 18 years, Regina B. Goree; son, Hubert Michael Doss; daughter, Tina Renee Doss Higgins; step-daughter, Elaine Weldon Moore (David); grandchildren, Nicholas Adams, Brittany Higgins, Hayden Doss, and Joshua Doss; step-grandchildren, Kimberlie Bruce, Joseph Bell, Brandon Vance, and Austin Vance.
Funeral services will be held in the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home Chapel in Peachtree City, GA on Tuesday, December 8, 2014 at 2:00pm. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00am-2:00pm prior to the service. Interment will be at Senoia City Cemetery in Senoia, GA.
