We have so many wonderful memories of our time together with Jack and Jean. You were so encouraging and supportive to both of us. Jack's (and Jean's) frequent calls during Bob's recent extended time in the hospital and rehab were such a blessing to both of us. We will enjoy and treasure the memories for the rest of our lives. And we hope to make some more memories with Jean in the coming years. Janet and Bob Girdwood (Berkley, MI)

I was an elder when Jack and Jean were on staff at Southside Christian preparing for the new church plant in Sarasota. It was a great way to "birth" a new congregation.

Jean, you were a supporting helpmeet and the love and spirit of Jesus shined brightly in both your lives! May the comfort of the Lord fill the hearts of you and the entire family

One of my fond memories with Jack was visiting him and Jean at their cabin in northern Georgia. Since our ideas of ministry and health were so much alike, it was a joy to just sit on the porch and talk. The Kingdom of God on this earth has lost a good servant, but the Kingdom in heaven has gained more praise to our "God of all comfort, who comforts us in all of our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." I have many fond memories of Jack and his preaching and teaching. He lived the Word that he preached and helped lead many others to the Lord with the help of his wife Jean. We have lost a great spiritual leader today but he has gained his reward. God Bless. Ray and Vickie Johnson

Jean - It was a joy to know you and Jack. We express our sincere condolences at his passing. I was always thrilled when you were both in my Sunday school class and Jack shared some of his many years of wisdom with me and the class. Blessings.

One of my many blessings in this life has been knowing Jack and Jean Fawley. We traveled to the Holy Land together and even cruised on the high seas. Jsck was a soft spoken man and never complained. He knew God's word and lived it. Thank you Lord for giving him the peace he so deserves and please continue to be with Jean and their daughters. Thanks Jean for being my friend. Love forever, Joyce

Among my childhood's dearest truest memories are adventures and misadventures with Susan and Carolyn, Jack and Jean --- and in the years since our paths went their own ways, their family's love and smiles and care have never failed to reach out and touch/sweeten&strengthen my family and me. Jack & Jean, Susan & Carolyn saw our family through illnesses, struggles, losses of parents, so many ups and downs. The memory of Jack just now is deep and beautiful. His face, his voice and laughter remain so vivid; he was a champion in the quietest, humblest way. Prayers and love, comfort and joy to you. May you feel returning to you the grace your family has been to us all. Love You.
