JoAn Schneider Morris

Mrs. Margaret JoAn Schneider Morris, 82, of Sharpsburg, GA passed away on August 3, 2015. She was born on January 8, 1933 to the late Anna Margaret Pheiffer Schneider and Walter Otto Schneider in Topeka, KS.

JoAn was an elementary school counselor in Georgia for many years but, she was an entertainer at heart. She loved cooking for everybody and making sure they had a good time. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The world will be a lonelier place, without her in it, with us.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Donald Hugh Morris; brother, Eldon Schneider; and sister, Norma Lee Patterson.

JoAn is survived by her two daughters, Kim Jag and Wendy Karably. Kim’s family includes her daughter, Taylor Howard and husband, Andrew; and their children, Brooklyn and Finley; daughter, Haley Garrison and husband, Miles. Taylor and Haley’s father, Mike Jag; Wendy’s family includes- her husband, Ken, and their children, Kyle and Bridget.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, GA on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00am with Pastor Fritz Wiese officiating.
