Joseph Everett Hogue, 68, formerly from Decatur AL, passed away peacefully at Kansas Soldiers Home in Fort Dodge, KS. Joseph was a US Army veteran who specialized in Communications. After his time in the service, he was a welder by trade. He loved to travel, play the harmonica, and tell stories.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Franklin and Myrtice Butler Hogue; sisters, Shirley Hogue Weems and Irene Hogue Taylor; and daughter, Diane Hogue Mann.
Joseph is survived by his brother, Raymond Carlton (Barbara) Hogue; daughters, Jo Anne Hogue Lee and Heather Cruson; grandchildren, James Cruson and Aleigha Martin; many cousins; and other family and friends.
Services will be held in the chapel at Carmichael - Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery in College Park, GA at 1:30pm.
