Joseph Pierce Suttles, Sr., age 93, passed away on September 11, 2019. He was born in Atlanta, GA on January 19, 1926. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1944-1946.

Funeral services to be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 1:00pm in the chapel at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA. The visitation will at the funeral home from 11:00am-1:00pm, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA with military honors.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church, 3150 Fairburn Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30331. Phone 404-344-2206.
