

Julie was born in Canfield, Ohio on May 15, 1930 to the late Mike and Susan Sproch Raykovich.
She was a graduate of Canfield High School, and spent her early career working in banking and administrative positions. Later in life after having a family, Julie returned to work in the retail industry. Throughout her life and during retirement, she enjoyed socializing, shopping, and playing cards and dice games.
Julie married Lawrence (Larry) F Kornokovich on May 28, 1960, who passed away on November 30, 2002.
She is survived by her daughters Tami (the late Phil) Kelley and Kim (Joe) Connell, granddaughters Kayla (Jordan) Kruetzer and Courtney (Austin) Lage; great grandchildren, Elijah, Wesley, Lucy, and Carter; and her sister Martha (the late Joe) Mesaros.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Paul Kamoda, Lydia Balciar, Irene Babik, Albert Zlenka, Mildred Vlajkovich, Ruby Booth, Dorothy Arquilla, Marian Nicholson, and Madeline Maguire.
Julie spent the last three plus years at Somerby Assisted Living where she enjoyed the music of Happy Hour and was a die-hard fan of cornhole!
The family extends a special thank you to Southern Grace Hospice for their care and compassion. Also, a very special thank you to her caregivers over the last several years Joyce, Val, Cheryl, Adina, and Kelly.
The family will host her Celebration of Life on Sunday August 24, 2025 at 1:30pm in the Somerby Room of the Somerby Independent Living Building at 300 Rockaway Road Peachtree City, GA 30269.
