Kenneth Charles Feldhaus

Kenneth C. Feldhaus, 91, of Peachtree City, Georgia passed away on the evening of January 29, 2025 to make an early heavenly tee time. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharon (Wade) Feldhaus, children Kimberly Sambdman of Wake Forest, NC, Dawn Feldhaus of Vancouver, WA, Kurt Feldhaus and wife Kristine Feldhaus of Lawrenceville, Ga., grandchildren, Kiri Feldhaus and Campbell Feldhaus.

Kenneth was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on December 14, 1933 to parents William Feldhaus and Julia (Nebiker) Feldhaus who proceeded him in death along with his brother Jerome Feldhaus.

Kenneth graduated from DeAndreis High School in St. Louis and served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves from 1955 to 1961. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, then began working as a salesman at Arkansas Best Freight at its’ St. Louis freight terminal in 1963. Ken was offered opportunities in sales/terminal management at ABF’s Rochester, NY and Atlanta, GA freight terminals, eventually serving as a National Accounts Director before retiring from ABF in 1995. His career in sales for a respected freight transportation company required a lot of travel both regionally and nationally, to build relationships with customers that lasted beyond his retirement.

Ken met Sharon at the wedding of his older brother Jerome Feldhaus to Sharon’s oldest sister Patricia. Ken and Sharon followed their siblings to the altar years later in 1961 and celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary together in May 2024.

Before and after retirement, Ken was an avid golfer in the south metro Atlanta area and enjoyed the company of his golfing buddies wherever they met.

Ken and Sharon were members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City, Georgia where he was an usher and member of the Knights of Columbus.

His enjoyment of travelling extended into retirement and Sharon and Ken could be seen whisking away for a cruise in the Caribbean, around Hawaii, and north to Alaska. They were up for a leisurely westward AMTRAK train route to the Pacific Northwest, Southwest U.S., and Midwest to visit family or tour a national landmark. Ken and Sharon enjoyed touring theatrical companies of popular plays and musicals in Atlanta, as well as taking in new and long-running shows in Las Vegas or on Broadway.

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory, Peachtree City, Georgia. A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 101 Walt Banks Rd, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269.
