Mrs. Louise Allen Walls, 97, of Fayetteville, passed away on August 13, 2020. She was born November 8, 1922 in Social Circle, GA to the late William Thomas Allen and Clara Studdard Allen. Mrs. Allen grew up in Atlanta and graduated from West Fulton High School. She had the “job of her dreams” working at the telephone company after graduation. She met Homer A. Walls, Jr. at a barbecue and got married 9 months later and settled in Southeast Atlanta. She became a stay at home mom when her 2 sons were born. Later she became a real estate agent and worked over 20 years in the real estate market. She was a member of First Christian Church of Tyrone and loved working in the kitchen preparing meals for the church members. Her biggest hobby was china painting. After living with her son, she spent her last years at Heritage of Peachtree City Assisted Living.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her 7 siblings; and her great-grandson, Heath Garrett.
Mrs. Walls is survived by her sons, Larry (Carol) Walls, Fayetteville; and Phil (Kathy) Walls, Lutz, FL; grandchildren, Erin (Chris) Worley; Renee (Marcus) Garrett; Maria (Billy) Moore; Heather Blume; Travis Walls; and Katie (Christian) Altamirano; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17 at Eastview Cemetery, 56 4th Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30317. Minister Billy Rowe will officiate assisted by Ministers Howard Taylor and Eddie Bowen. Due to current health concerns, there will not be a formal visitation but family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, August 16 at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to First Christian Church of Tyrone Mission Fund, 294 Jenkins Road, Tyrone, GA 30290 or to Eastview Cemetery Association, Inc., P. O. Box 3572, Lilburn, GA 30048-3572.
