Maria Cecilia Montinola Pagunsan Garcia

Maria Cecilia Montinola Pagunsan Garcia, 77, of Fairburn, GA passed away on July 23, 2024. She was born in Iloilo City, Philippines on September 14, 1946 to the late Fransicso and Francisca Montinola.

She married Adolfo Dalisay Garcia on August 29, 1977 and they were married for over 46 years.

Family was always FIRST. She made sure family stayed together, especially when her husband transferred back and forth from Germany to the USA. Her children, and grandchildren are a reflection of her dedication and never ending care. Her favorite saying was: “Love Always Forever!“

She is survived by her husband, Adolfo; her two children, Adolfo Dalisay Garcia II and Prescilla Dalisay Chang; her grandchildren, Christopher Chang, Rachel Garcia, Noah Garcia, Sophia Garcia, and Jeremiah Garcia; brother, Jose Pagunsan Montinola; and sister, Maria Teresita Montinola Famacion.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 in the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home Chapel, 135 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269 with Deacon Mark officiating the service.

A committal service will be held at 2:00pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. We will all meet at the cemetery at 1:30pm.
