She was born on December 25, 1923 in Cajamarca, Tolima, Colombia. She met her husband Carlos Bueno in 1948. Together, they had 4 children: Rafael, Gloria, Magdalena and Carlos. She was grandmother of 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 18 children.
Maria Emma loved spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor, honesty, and blessings.
Her departure leaves so much sadness in our hearts but we are thankful to have had a wonderful human being among us for so many years who is now in heaven watching over us.
