Martha (Harmon) Warren

Mrs. Martha Harmon Warren, 85, of Newnan, passed away March 9, 2020. A native of metro Atlanta, Martha Warren (nee Harmon) graduated from Avondale High School in Dekalb County and worked for many years caring for infants in a day care. Her faith was paramount to her life, and she loved raising her children in all aspects of church life. Martha loved gospel music and going for ice cream with friends after church. She loved the Atlanta Braves, solving puzzles, and working in the garden. She was devoted to her husband of 55 years, Roger. They never spent a night apart unless work or illness separated them. Martha delighted in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Warren; sons, Keith Warren and Kenneth Warren; daughter, Kim Gill; grandchildren, Josh Saye and Caleb Gill; great grandchildren, Noah Saye and Tanner Saye. Martha is also survived by her twin sister, Mary Davis.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 in the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City with Pastor Harry Parkerson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until five minutes prior to the services.

Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, is in charge of arrangements.
