Maurice Johnson

Maurice was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan until the end! Knowing Maurice, was to know he loved dressing in his idea of a well-coordinated outfit and enjoying good entertainment. Maurice loved and was cherished by many but he loved nothing more than his family. His devotion as a father was one of great admiration.

He graduated from St. Peter’s Academy and worked as a Superintendent at Delta Airlines. He was preceded in death by his Father, Mack Johnson, his younger Brother, Andrew Johnson and his Mother, Lula Smith. Maurice is survived by his Son, Brandon Johnson (Fairburn) and Brittney Johnson (Fayetteville).

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of you for your prayers, presence, love, calls, texts, and all other expressions of concern that you have shown during their time of bereavement. Never more than now was your kindness needed and more appreciated.

A visitation for Maurice will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory, 135 Senoia Rd, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269, followed by a chapel funeral service at 11:00 AM.
