Mildred moved to Peachtree City, GA in 1989. After retirement in 1993, she spent her time with her dogs and helping out her neighbors. She enjoyed her flowers and watching the birds and wildlife that visited her back deck.
Mildred was always putting others first. She was also dedicated to her church and participated in her final altar guild duties just seven days prior to her death.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Claire Edmondson; and two sons, David Mayne and Alan Mayne; along with many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at St Andrew’s in the Pines Episcopal Church in Peachtree City, GA on Thursday December 4, 2025, at 3:00 pm.
A Private Family Interment will be held on December 6, 2025.
The family requests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
