Phillip was born on July 1, 1960 to the late Luther and Gracie Cooper in Brandon, MS. He was proud to be a United States Army Veteran. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed riding alongside his fellow members of the Shadow Warrior Riders Motorcycle Club. He worked at UPS Parcel for 43 years. He was a loving man and more than anything in life, Phillip loved his children and grandchildren.
Survived by his son, Jacob Cooper; his daughters, Tasha Howell, Caitlyn Hodge, and Shannon McGrew; his grandchildren, Lily & Macy Cooper, Austin, Josh, & Brayden King, and MacKenzie Hodge; his great-granddaughter, Skylar King; his brothers, James and David Cooper, and Robert Richardson; and his sisters, Annette Richardson, Karen Cooper and Sandy Cooper.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 45 Shepard Way, Newnan, GA 30265 at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the 14th Hour & Beyond the Battlefield.
