Ralph Francis Michael

77 of Newnan, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Ralph was born on August 23,1947 in Wichita, Kansas. He moved to Indianola, Iowa where he graduated high school in 1965. Ralph met the love of his life Linda and married in 1971. Together, they raised one daughter, Chandra and built a life filled with love and adventure. His service took them to Birmingham and Atlanta during his military career.

A proud Army veteran, Ralph served his country for 27 years before continuing to serve as a contractor for 24 more. He loved to travel and explore new places, always seeking new experiences and memories with those he loved.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be remembered for his dedication, warmth, and unwavering love for his family.

He is survived by his wife Linda; daughter, Chandra Crocker (Eric); granddaughter, Alexandra Duffey (Drew); grandson Michael Crocker (Mikayla) and his great grandson, Caden Crocker. He is also survived by his siblings Patricia Rivers (Russell), Barbara Lightfoot (Alan), Judy Kinney (Ray), and Louise Frondle (Bill). He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Center for Visually Impaired, if desired in his name.
