I am so very sorry for your loss. Learning of Bob's passing truly broke my heart. I have so many wonderful memories of him and the love he had for his family. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We did not know Bob well enough or long enough as we wished but always enjoyed being with him. His smile, wit, and wisdom will live in our memories. We very much appreciated his mentoring our son on fathering girls, something we could not do having raised sons.

My dad touched many hearts, started lots of laughs, and was a wonderful father. During this short illness he was so appreciative of the nurses who cared for him at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. I was shocked and so saddened with the news of Bobby's passing. He had in fact come to mind within the last week, why I don't know. So many memories flooded back to me growing up with him in Columbia, his first day on the bus in jr. High, summers on the lake in his canoe, watching him mature into a very handsome young man who was as kind as he was good looking, his long hair while at USC, his time in Charlotte with the Associates, meeting his beautiful wife at the 10th class reunion and learning our first children were born on the same day, hours apart. Please know your Bobby was a bright spot in my life and I will cherish having known him. My heart aches for you all. I look forward to seeing him in heaven. He was a prince of a guy.

Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal.  Love leaves memories that no one can steal. May the love Bob had for you and his family comfort you as you go thru this most difficult time.

I have known Bob for 40 years and know that he was a good man, a good father and a good husband that loved his wife.  He will be missed by all that knew him.
