Roy Berns Henderson, 71, of Peachtree City, GA passed away on June 19, 2014. Roy’s career as an Air Traffic Controller allowed him to work in Atlanta, GA; Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; Dubai, Ras Al Khama; and Homestead, FL. He was passionate about aviation. His presence and humor would light up any room. He was a very selfless man who always put the ones he loved before himself. Roy is survived by his wife, Shanda Henderson; his two sons, Allen and Hunter Henderson; and his daughter, Holly Chambers; as well as five grandchildren, Lexi, Caden, Ashlyn, Simon, and Alyssa. He will be forever missed by the people lucky enough to have known him. A gathering to celebrate his life will be announced in a few weeks.
