Sam was a graduate of Baker High School and he received his MBA from Columbus College. He retired as a System Network Administrator “computer nerd” for the AJC. He loved music, playing his drums, writing poetry, and riding motorcycles. He was a loving husband, father, and he was affectionately known as “Grumpsy” by his grandchildren.
Sam is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Debbie; son, Jared Scott (Kat); daughter, Jenny Keim (Randy); grandchildren, Kayleigh, Hanna, Marissa, Ruby, and Ava; brother, Glenn G. Camp (Becky); and sister, Anna Posey (Richard).
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Instead of flowers, please make donations to Harbor Grace Hospice in his memory.
Arrangements under the direction of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory, Peachtree City, GA.
