Mrs. Sonja Manzi, 86, of Peachtree City, GA (formerly of Columbus, GA) passed away on November 10, 2016. She was a professional Ballet Dancer with the Mannheim City Ballet in Mannheim, Germany. She was the former Director of the Springer Ballet Company, and owner of Columbus School of Dance.
Sonja is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Manzi; grandchildren, Jenny Gardner and Jessica Manzi; and her parents, Robert and Amalia Loser.
Sonja is survived by her sons, Joseph Manzi (Lyn) and Robert Manzi (Ramona); daughter, Amelia Gardner (Bill); grandchildren, Jason Manzi (Linda), Jocelyn Rodriguez (Frank), Zachary Gardner, Gillian Manzi, Jacob Manzi, and Joseph Manzi, Jr.; great-grandchildren, John Genovese, Anthony Manzi, Matthew Manzi, Emily Rodriguez, Maximus Manzi, and Ava Rodriguez.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Sonja’s memory to the American Lung Association.
