It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Sheldon announce his passing on February 2, 2025, in Peachtree City, GA. Thomas passed peacefully surrounded by his loving children. Thomas was born on October 20, 1953, in Dearborn, Michigan to Margaret and Wilfred Sheldon.
He is survived by his children, Tim (Linna) Newman and Dana (Eric) McGinnis; and his grandchildren, Avery and Jack Minock, and Alex and Anna Newman. He was preceded by his loving wife of 38 years, Lynne. Tom and his Lynne lived in Michigan until they retired in Georgia in 2013.
Thomas worked as a Golf Professional for his entire adult life. He spent the bulk of his career at the Links of Novi, until he retired. Thomas enjoyed golfing and had many great friendships centered around the game of golf.
A service will be held in the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00am. A visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am.
