Miss you "Mama V"

I met miss V on my first day of Chemo she had came over and sat beside me after she noticed that I was losing it after my family had left the room. I had held my feeling's together for my family but once they left the reality of where I was and what I would be going through hit me. V came over and started telling me stories and jokes and turned my tears of fear into tears of joy from laughing. Five hours later we knew each other's life story and became inseparable at the "Chemo treatment plant" as we named it. We would safe each other seats so we could sit together each time we were there. V you were my angel here on earth and I know you are watching over us all in Heaven!!

V you will always be remembered with that wonderful laugh, warm personality and believe me you will be missed so much.  A great friend that always enjoyed those wonderful cakes, one of course the Italian Cream.  My prayers are with your cousins.

I can still hear your laugh and remember how beautiful you always were.  I grew up two doors down from Valeria on 46th Street in Birmingham.  Always so much fun...I'm sure she is dancing on Heaven's street now!!  Love you...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Goodbye, my dear friend of 72 years, until we meet again.  Until then, I will treasure the happy childhood memories we made together.
