Wanda Arline Bailey

Wanda Arline Bailey, age 82, of Senoia, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Wanda was born July 17, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Pastor Lewis Cranford Waters and Viola Mae Echols Waters.

She was a bookkeeper and an accountant. Mrs. Bailey loved to travel and tour historic homes and sites. She enjoyed going to the casinos (VERY lucky) and fine restaurants. Mrs. Bailey loved studying the Bible. She was a marathon shopper and collected Lladro and Beanie Babies.

Mrs. Bailey loved her family above all things and was the heart and center of her family. She will be irreplaceable and will be missed by so many people. Mrs. Bailey was very generous and kind and donated to any organization involving children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Leon Bailey; son, Joe Bailey; sons-in-law, Ralph Cooper and Steve Freeze; sister-in-law, Sue Waters.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her sons, Billy Joe Parmer (Carol); Ronald (Reuben) Parmer (Susan); Kenneth Brian Bailey (Raynie); Dennis Ryan Bailey (Michelle); Ed Bailey (Kathy); Ricky Bailey; daughters, Wanda Parmer Cooper and Cindy Bailey Freeze; 20 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Lewis C. Waters; brother-in-law, Christopher Spacone (Becky); and sister, Sandra Waters DeFoor Blair(Carl).

The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory, 135 Senoia Rd, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home chapel with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, GA 30349.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the March of Dimes, or to the American Breast Cancer Society.
