My thoughts and sympathy to all of the family and freinds that were touched by Bill.  It has been a very long time since I have seen him, but his friendship to Brent meant a kinship to myself.  The stories the memories and the wonderful legacy this man left is forever.  I have always loved him and the people that he helped through this life.  He will continue to be there to support those he loved through the strength of his memories.  God Bless you all.

Bill had an engaging personality and an easy way about him.  He will be truly missed.  My thoughs are with his family during this difficult time.  He will always be with you in your hearts and fond memories.

Bill was my friend, mentor, confidant, brother, father figure. I will always treasure the time I was blessed to spend with him.I cannot count the number of times I asked Bill for advice and the words of wisdom he imparted, as well as a helpful heap of his humor.You are missed more than you can imagine. My heart goes out to my McNew Family that I am proud and honored to be a part of.The tears will ease but the memories will live on forever. I Love You and miss you.

Bill was such a kind and sharing person. Not only of his family but his vast business knowledge. I went to Bill when thinking about opening my own business. His advise, coaching and suggestions gave me the courage to take the plunge -- 9 years later the business is still growing. He will be missed by all.

Bill was my life-long friend and mentor. I owe my entire career to him. Working for him was working for my best friend. His personality was absolutely infectious and his friendship was always unconditional. Without question the "most interesting man" in my world. To the family of Bill McNew I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I have known Bill since 1975 when Uncle Lee and Aunt Lee moved to East Texas. All through the years he has helped many of us gave many of us jobs sent money to us when we were stranded like me in Birmingham time and time again without a blink of the eye. Bill never judged what we have done in our lifes but he always stood by and supported our decisions. He cared when we thought no one else did. I have many great memories one I will always cherish was on Lake Lanier on Uncle Lee's birthday we all took out the boats to an island and had a huge bbq we had so much fun with family and friends that day.I will always keep him in my heart for there people live forever so keep him close in yours and he will never be far.May God give you peace and comfort.
