Angie was born December 15, 1961, in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Early on Angie seemed to develop a strong work ethic. Her industrious and fastidious nature served her well throughout her career. Angie was the switchboard operator for Irby Electric for many years, and the administrative secretary for Ritchey Automotive.
Angie’s life revolved around her family and her happiest moments were spent with them. Whether cooking them a batch of her famous hot sauce chicken, spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchild, or spending a quiet afternoon watching Netflix with her daughter, Angie always put her family first.
Angie’s faith was strong and although she couldn’t often attend services at Crossgates Baptist, she never missed the televised or live-streamed services of her church family.
As was her nature, even in her free time Angie stayed busy. Known somewhat as a “clean nut”, everything in her home had its place, and it had to be tidy. Down time for Angie was watching movies or Mississippi State football- always with a Diet Coke in hand.
Angie’s legacy was one of hard work and love for family. Now free, Angie’s spirit soars in the Heavens like the beautiful butterflies she adored.
