One of the earliest members of McLaurin Heights Methodist Church, having joined in the early 1960s, she held a deep love for her church family. She enjoyed a long and dedicated career with Sears, Roebuck and Company. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she took great pride in caring for and providing for her family. She also found joy in tending to her flowers in her yard, where her nurturing spirit truly shined.
Mrs. Lyle was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy F. Lyle; children, Deborrah Lynn Lyle (infant daughter), Mark Lyle, and Jimmy Lyle; her parents, Alva B. Boykin, and Frances Elizabeth Webb Boykin; four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by daughter, Lisa Kile (David); son, David Lyle (Amanda); grandchildren, Christopher Kile (Stephanie), Jesse Kile (Jessica), Zack Kile (Rebecca), Alex Kile, Jarrett Lyle, and Casey Amanda Nelms (Joey); great-grandchildren, Avery, Bailey, Annie, Harper, Heidi, Dailyn, Myla, and Jackson Kile, Christopher and Embers Lyle, and Cleopatra Nelms; sisters-in-law, Annie Merle Boykin, Doris Boykin, and Eloise Brown; and special friend, Joe Hencely.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the food pantry at McLaurin Heights Methodist Church.
