Anthony, “Tony”, was born on August 9, 1987 to Ann and Gary Hamil Sr. He graduated from Terry High School in 2009. Being a special needs child, he lived with his parents for many years and eventually moved to Lincoln Residential in Brookhaven MS in 2018.
Tony was a video gamer at heart who loved music and bringing smiles to people’s faces. He enjoyed playing Nintendo 64 and making people laugh. Tony loved his family and everyone that he met.
Tony is survived by his brothers, Gary Lamar Hamil Jr (Mandy), Christopher Gene Hamil Sr (Amanda), three nieces, Aleyan, Lillion, Ella Grace, and one nephew Chris. Tony was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Ann Hamil, and father Gary Lamar Hamil Sr.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The funeral service will follow afterwards at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place at Lakewood Memorial Park South in Jackson.
Anthony, “Tony”, Shawn Hamil was the best brother, and loving son and will be dearly missed.
