Visitation is 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. A Rosary Service will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Sumrall was born September 15, 1939 in Columbia, Mississippi, a daughter of the late B.P. Sawyer, Sr. and Anna Kurry Sawyer.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, B.J. Sumrall; daughters, Karen Sumrall, Patti Eden and Helen Johns; brother, B.P. Sawyer, Jr.; sisters, Kim Sawyer and Beverly Bullock; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Eric and Joey Sumrall.
