Born in Brandon, Mississippi, on November 2, 1951, to Mr. Billie Martin Robertson and Mrs. Sarah Lavelle Thompson Robertson.
Betty Lynn will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence—steadfast in faith, devoted to those she loved, and guided throughout her life by compassion, honesty, and a kind heart. Her hard-working spirit and quiet strength left an enduring impression on all who knew her, and her example will continue to inspire those who were blessed to share in her life. She was regional manager for AIG Insurance before her retirement. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Brandon, Mississippi.
Betty Lynn’s greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were truly the light of her world. In the everyday moments—gathered together, sharing conversation and time—her devoted care and faithful love were most clearly felt.
She also found comfort and satisfaction in making a home beautiful and welcoming. Whether decorating, rearranging her house, or tending to yard work, especially her flowers, Betty Lynn brought warmth and attention to the spaces she cared for, reflecting the same gentle thoughtfulness she extended to others.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Billy Collett (Candi); her grandson and wife, Tyler Collett (Courtney); her granddaughter and husband, Carson Wilson (Tyler "T"); and her great-grandsons, Brody Collett, Levi Collett, and Landry Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, Mississippi.
