Mrs. Betty Chaney Smith, 74, died June 3, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Monday, June 6, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Pearl with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 PM and Monday from 12 – 1 PM.
Mrs. Smith was a longtime member of Eastside Baptist Church where she was active in the LLC and the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Smith and sons, Kevin Smith and Timothy Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons, William “Ricky” Smith and Tony E. Smith (Tammy) both of Pearl; sisters, Cheryl Chaney and Linda Chaney, both of Union; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
