Billie was born in Sylverena, MS on December 17, 1932. In 1953 he married the love of his life Betty Jean White DuBois. They were happily married for 60 years until her passing in 2013.
Mr. DuBois loved spending time with family, watching the Ole Miss Rebels, reading westerns, listening to bluegrass and country music, repairing grandfather clocks, and being part of the Mississippi Clock Association. He worked most of his life with General Electric as a lamp machine mechanic. However, in 1984 at the age of 52 he went to the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer Training Academy in Pearl, MS, and became a certified police officer. He then went to work for the University of Mississippi Medical Center Police Department until his retirement. He loved being a jokester with his family and always had a great sense of humor. He also loved people and helping others in need.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean White DuBois; (Parents) Audie Mae and Harold Patrick and C.B.and Christine DuBois; (sister) Joann Patrick English; (brother-in-law) Kennis Keith; (brother) James Ray DuBois and (sister) Jeannie May DuBois Anderwald.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Vicki Stribling; son, Mike DuBois (Rhonda); brother, Robert Patrick (Kay); sisters, Eva Dee Keith, Jaqueline Horne (Billy), (brother-in-law) Bobby English, grandchildren, Angela Stribling, Michael DuBois (Laura), and Cassi Strange (Stewart); great-grandchildren, Ryder DuBois, Ruby DuBois, Rosie DuBois, Waverly Strange, and Dempsey Strange. He also leaves behind his beloved canine companion Bentley.
Graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM in Pearl, MS.
