

Bobby Monahan, age 73, of Pearl, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A visitation for Bobby will be held Monday, March 10, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. with Eric McNair officiating and performing music in the chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Bobby was born in Bowling Green, KY to the late Frank Spencer Monahan and Ollie Margaret Monahan. He attended Pearl High School and worked as a LP Gas Mechanic. Bobby adored his family, loved riding his motorcycle, loved tinkering on vehicles and motorcycles. He never met a stranger. He was a longtime member of McLaurin Heights Baptist Church.
Those remaining behind to cherish Bobby’s memory include his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Kay Monahan; daughters, Angela Murphy (Lloyd) and Cassie Pugh (Bobby); son, Josh Monahan (Kaylon); his sister, Cathy Scott (Mark); sister-n-law, Jackie Boteler (Vernon); seven grandchildren: JR Macoy (Ally), Zachary Wooten, Mary Margaret Macoy, Cameron Monahan, Kayden Monahan, Gage Monahan and Kylee Grace Pugh; three great-grandchildren: Alaina Macoy, Marleigh Macoy and Kason Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved him dearly.
He is also preceded in death by his sister, Vicki McDowell.
