Mr. Black was born in Louisville, MS to the late, Clarence C. and Ethel Dempsey Black.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Mary Kristen Black; and sisters, Betty Hill and Alice McKay.
Mr. Black is survived by his son, Charles "Chas" Black, Jr.; daughter, Lauren Black; sisters, Joyce Jones and her husband Ralph, Virginia Patrick and her husband Ron, Claudia Jones and her husband Marshall, and Linda Jones; grandchildren, Kristen and Kaitlin Black; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
