

Charles is preceded in death by his son, James Walter Jones, Sr., and grandson, James Walter Jones, Jr.
Charles is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wanda Fallin Jones; daughter Charlene Jones Craft (Greg); grandson, Dr. James Shelby Presgraves (Jean); great-grandson, Alex Presgraves; and brother-in-law, Willis Fallin.
Charles retired from the Jackson Water Treatment Plant.
Charles enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife, Wanda, and special friends, visiting all National Parks as well as traveling around the nation.
Charles taught many young kids to excel, including his nieces and nephews, Renee Fallin Harrison, Angela Franklin Drew (Tommy), Tracy Fallin Walker, Jason Fallin (Jamie), Caitlin Walker, Collier Fallin, Madison Walker, and Jonathon and Drew Wilson. His nieces and nephews benefited from his skill and patience, especially swimming lessons.
Charles was an avid camper and enjoyed learning new skills or old skills in a new way, always meticulous in his work. He could repair and/or build whatever he needed.
Charles was a man of few words but shared his sense of humor with everyone he came into contact with, leaving behind his great love for his wife.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services, officiated by Brother Mal Pinion, will follow at 2:30pm at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Dr. James Presgraves, Jason Fallin, Collier Fallin, Drew Wilson, Tommy Dew, and Andy Duesenberry.
