To my cousin Mike: I am sad to hear of your departure from my world. My favorite "Jar-head" has joined in comrades in arms. I will miss you! But you will never be forgotten!

To his wife and family: I grieve with you that he has physically gone from us! Mike was, and is, a shining example of how we should live. Let us continue on with our memories and the hope we will be reunited again. We are all better for having him as part of our lives - let us be grateful for having him!
