OBITUARY
Christopher Ryan Myers
July 15, 1983 – February 19, 2021
Christopher Ryan Myers, 37, of Brandon and formerly of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly in his home on February 19, 2021. Chris was a humorous, loving son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend to many.
Chris will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Ann and Gene "Poe" Myers; brother, Bryan Myers; sister, Ashley Bynum (Corey); grandmother, Shirley Jordan; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Vera and Jeff Myers, and Ellis Jordan.
Chris loved so many, and was loved by so many more. He had an energy that with even just one encounter with him, you would remember him for life. He will continue to stay with us all through memories, and the laughs he forced us all to endure, whether we were in the mood for it or not.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Florence.

From teaching Chris in Sunday School to him hanging out at the shop, we have known Chris for a long time. Chris will be missed by us. He would come by the shop and work on his truck. Erin would put him to work repairing plumbing issues and patching siding on our shop. He would do anything he was asked to do. Very helpful and well mannered. May God be with his family during this time. Our prayers are with you.

Ann,
I remember the countless conversations you shared about Christopher in my office at MDES. Your eyes would light up and we would talk until we had to go back to work. When I read his obituary, it was like you were once again, sitting in the office, sharing another story about Christopher.
May God bless and keep you and all of your family.
