Visitation will be from 5-9 Friday, March 29, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Services will be held Saturday in the funeral home chapel at 3 pm with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Pelahatchie.
Mr. Wavrin served in the United States Army, he also served as a deputy for Warren County and retired from Simpson County Sheriff's Department.
Mr. Wavrin is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Golding Petty and one younger brother.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Wavrin; sons, Damon Wavrin of Albany Oregon, James Wavrin of Houston, TX, Nathan Purvis of Brandon; daughter, Amber Purvis Conger (Rocky) of Pelahatchie; sisters, Samantha Goodner of Texas and Deborah Kirby (Roger) of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Destinee Wavrin, Kaleb Wavrin, Sean Wavrin, Gaige Conger, Magen Conger, and Jadyn Conger; and several nieces and nephews.
