The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm that same day in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place afterwards at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Bill was born on March 2, 1930 to the late William Russell Williams and Lydia Sumrall Williams in Morton, Mississippi. He was also a member of North Morton Baptist Church, and during his early years, he enjoyed fishing in his free time.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sons, Clarence E. Williams and Michael D. Sharp; four brothers; one sister; and grandchild, Amanda Sharp.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Williams; son, George "Butch" Edwin Sharp; daughters, Wanda J. Smith (Jacky) and Sheila Williams; brother, Hal "Bo" Donald Williams; grandchildren, Sheree Engle (Matthew), Stephanie Keller, Stephen Sharp (Isabel), Daniel Sharp ( Amber), and Timothy Sharp (Jordan); and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
