Cullen W. McCarty

Pearl, MS

Cullen Waufield McCarty went to be with Jesus on August 1, 2012. He was born June 18, 1922. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Army Air Corp. He attended First Baptist Church in Pearl. He will be missed much by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by a son, Wayne McCarty, mother, Georgia Oliver McCarty, father, James Edward McCarty, and brother, James Erwin McCarty.

He is survived by a son, Jimmy McCarty (Joyce); daughters, Sandra Scruggs (Jerry), Tanzie Brown (Shot), Candice Moore (Bud), and Brandi Bosarge; and many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl Friday, August 3, 2012 from 5-7pm. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Pearl on Saturday at 11am with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at 2pm in Choctaw County at his life long church, Providence Baptist Church.
