The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at McLaurin Heights Baptist Church in Pearl with burial following at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Brennan was born on June 3, 2002 to David Houston and Terri Bush Houston at the River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. He was a member of Galloway United Methodist Church in Jackson. Brennan not only graduated from Pearl High School, but was a super scholar and an inductee to the school's hall of fame. He was also a member of the swim team. Brennan enjoyed many extracurricular activities, such as the Mayor's Youth Council and the Rankin Youth Leadership. He was currently enrolled premed at Mississippi State University, where he ended up starting his own chemistry club. An active individual, Brennan coached the top two spin bike classes at the Sanderson Health Complex and was employed at the Butler guest house on campus.
Preceding him in death is his maternal grandmother, Anne Massey Bush.
Brennan is survived by his parents, David Houston and Terri Bush Houston; sister, Alexandria "Allie" Houston; maternal grandfather, James Bush; paternal grandparents, Robert M. Houston and Ruby Houston; aunt, Kellie Salusbury (Mike); uncle, Heath Bush (Melissa); beloved rescue dog, Luna; and many dear cousins, extended family members, and friends.
He will be so deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
