Daniel M Callahan

Daniel M. Callahan, 75, of Brandon, MS went home to his Heavenly Father on June 7th, 2017, after cancer claimed his body. A memorial service was held at Our Redeemer Lutheran church in Clinton on Saturday, the 10th of June at 11:00 am; Pastor Henze officiating.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm Monday, June 19, 2017 in Nicolet Memorial Park, Green Bay, WI.

Dan was born in Asheville NC March 21, 1942. He was married to Barb Callahan for 30 years. He spent over 50 years in the trucking industry and was appreciative of how it helped him provide for his family. He enjoyed being with family, telling jokes and fishing with friends, but his true passion was his relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He encouraged countless others to know Jesus by sharing Jesus' love and grace with everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, brother Scott (June), sister Patricia Dykes, his children; Nancy, Maureen, Karen, Patrick, Shawn, Paul and Laura, 27 grandchildren, 20 great grand children and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Eric, his brother Paul and Sister Judi (Les) Oakman.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1799 Clinton-Raymond Road, Clinton, MS 39056-9622
