Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Hinds Independent Methodist Church Cemetery, 14938 Old Port Gibson Rd, Raymond, MS.
David was born June 19, 1957, a son of the late Winston Elijah Kelly and Virgie Marie Butts Kelly. He was a graduate of Rebul Academy in Learned and attended Mississippi College.
David was raised in the Methodist faith and his trust in our Lord was strong. His family was of utmost importance to David and he delighted in times spent with them. His kind and caring spirit drew people to David, especially the elderly, and he always took great joy in visiting with others.
David was an avid reader; among his favorite authors were Richard Carlson and John Grisham.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Adcock; maternal grandparents, William and Mabel Butts; and paternal grandparents, Leonard and Lucy Kelly.
David is survived by his beloved niece and nephew, Janie Horton and husband Robert, and Mike Adcock and wife Angie; great-niece, Katelon Adcock; and great-nephews, Jason Horton, and Chase Horton and wife Kelly.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
